Story Summary:

"Julie of the Wolves" follows Miyax, a 13-year-old Inuk girl who escapes her unhappy home in Barrow, Alaska, and finds herself lost in the wilderness. She encounters a pack of wolves, which helps her survive and teaches her about the natural world.
